I was working on a post today, a story about how we were involved in a hot air balloon crash in China, with photos of the whole experience. I couldn't decide if it was better to spread the photos out between paragraphs, or sequentially, which meant most of the photos coming at the end of the story. I've got things to write about forever, but I'm still working on developing my writing style and delivering catchy and engaging titles and content. Any help/advice is greatly appreciated.

Thanks for joining the site.
I had a look at your post and felt you got a good balance. I liked the pictures between short blocks of text. That part worked well.
I also think that having a "gallery" at the end of the post also adds something for the reader. The pics captured the "scenery" "the locals" and best of all, "randoms emotions like laughing".
Good job!

Permalink Reply by Carol White Llewellyn on August 27, 2011 at 3:00pm When I began blogging, I used full-size photos, but I now use smaller photos so the text flows around the images, illustrating the text, but drawing the reader in. If I have a lot of photos, as Keith says, I try to use a slide show, but I always include at least one static photo because if you're using social media, facebook does not pick up the images in a slide show.
Sounds like you had a great adventure!
