So cool that you set this up Oliver! Some topics I am generally interested in learning more about are: different platforms for blogging, such as Wordpress, and what are the benefits of using each one; how to properly install and use Google Analytics to its fullest - still don't understand it; how to take and edit good travel (or any type of) photos.

Just some ideas!
SEO and monetizing strategies are always good topics! :-)
I think my idea would fit with Megans,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,useful tools for non-techies.
Well ladies and Keith . . .

The "How To" Sessions will certainly do that. The intention is to wait until nearer the time and then see what level of detail / complexity people require. As I am sure some know more than others. eg Advanced SEO or Standard SEO advice.

We have 6 "How To" sessions lined up in total, 4 are currently officially confirmed . . .

- Affiliate Marketing
- PR + Travel Bloggers
- Podcasting
- Marketing Digital Content

The other two are going to be . . .1) 'SEO' and 2) 'Travel Videos'. We are just waiting on Bios from the 2 companies involved before we do announce them.

Every expert does this day in and day out. . .so they can be as basic or detailed as we need.

If there is anything specifically you'd like to know within these topics then do let us know.

If we have the room & time . . . then travel photos will be our 7th topic. We just don't want to promise it is on the list if we may not be able to fit it in.
That's great, Oliver! I'll definitely be interested in those topics. As regards affiliate marketing, are the experts going to be able to cover legal ramifications/requirements for using affiliate marketing? I am sure it differs from country to country.
I could certainly ask them to look at that.

I'll be honest, I'm not an expert so I don't know the in's & out's.

But they will certainly know more. Do you have a specific example or know of any differences?

Well, I know that in the US, for instance, some recent legislation has forced bloggers to always disclose any type of affiliate marketing - basically anything on the site/blog that the blogger is getting paid for, they have to state it clearly on the site. That's about my extent on the knowledge of it. You already have your affiliate experts lined up, is that right? I'm sure they will know more!
