Starting today and for the next 8 days, we will be announcing the finalists for each of the 8 Travel Bloggy Awards.  A huge thanks to everyone who took the time to nominate.  We have discovered many great new blogs as a result.

There has been a slight change in how the finalists are determined.  We made sure that a nomination met the few simple rules we laid down at the start.  Then that nomination went straight through as a finalist.  We did it this way to keep things simple and ultimately, these awards are all about the community voting for each other.

Voting will still take place on the day of the awards!
