Speakers
At TBU we are known for the quality of our speakers and the overall 'learning experience'. TBU Porto will be no exception with a great list of speakers from within the travel blogging community. We'll also be bringing over one of Europe's top fashion bloggers, as well as experts from global marketing agencies, media buying and recruitment!
Here is the confirmed list (so far) of speakers who will be giving "How To" Talks:
There will also be a range of "How To" talks designed specifically for those from PR, travel brands and DMOs as well.
A New Conference Experience?
After our last conference we got some great feedback, we read all the comments and have come up with a change to the usual TBU conference schedule.
The conference will be taking place over Sat 8th & Sun 9th of Sept. The first part, will last until Saturday lunch time and will include the conference intro, a keynote and the 2 panel discussions.
We'll be dedicating the whole of the second part of the conference, from Saturday afternoon until the end of the conference on Sunday, to the various "How To" talks, covering a variety of informative and useful topics.
Speed Networking will be extended and actually under-go a transformation as well. After listening to your feedback from the last conference, this new schedule allows us to offer more networking opportunities.
Speed.. Bespoke Networking
At TBU Porto, there will be no more 3-4 hour "Speed Networking" sessions, like at previous conferences.
Instead there will be just simple, quality, pre arranged Networking sessions. These will last around 10 minutes or so, and they will be bookable in advance.
This change gives travel bloggers the opportunity to create their own bespoke networking schedule.
You'll know in advance which PRs, travel brands and DMOs will be attending and who will be available at which time. You'll then be able to sign up to meet who you want and more importantly, who is most relevant for your blog.

Travel Bloggy Awards
Returning for the 2nd time, will be the Travel Bloggy Awards. Nominated by the travel blogging community and voted for by a panel of industry experts, these awards will reward the hard work and dedication of travel bloggers the world over.
More details will be released in the coming weeks.
Conference Tickets
Prior to announcing Porto as a destination, we had already sold 50+ delegate tickets. The last conference sold out months in advance and with less than 150 tickets left, you need to act fast to secure your place at TBU Porto.
