Bacolod on Love, loss and eating everything in between

I left Ilo-ilo just as when the sun went down.

I was apprehensive about arriving in a new place at nightfall.

Alone. Hungry.

I walked away from the port, because i could see SM nearby. Which was a comforting sight.
And at the traveler's center i asked for nearby hostels. At this point i'm quite lucky to still have the assistance of my Mom who was doing the double duty as my GPS and potential hostel booker.

After walking far enough to reach the Plaza, and getting distracted by the biggest internet shop i have ever seen, it was as big as a basketball court and i wish i took a picture of it. Piss off the nerds with my flash camera.

As i walked away a guard/ nice guy warned me about some potential robbers tailing me.
So i asked him the direction for Bacolod Pension Plaza, which was on my list of potential hostels.

I love the way it looked and the friendly concierge, usually a place like this would be too expensive for my meager backpacker budget but since i was operating on a legal traverse. i immediately checked in a standard room and paid 850 pesos.

Left my bags and took a cab going to Calea. Ordered cake and a frappuccino.
Calea is a really happy place, kinda like how i view Banapple in QC.
Then i went upstairs to see the other random shops and saw a cute tea nook so i got myself a coconut milk tea.
