At TBU Umbria, we are yet again offering FREE post conference blog trips to blogger delegates.  The lineup is looking quite superb at the moment.  Take a look below...

Quick Facts

• The trips leave on Monday 23rd April, at approx 0900 and from the conference venue.
• They are all 2 nights long.
• They end Weds 25th April at approximately 1300.
• Everyone on these trips will meet at a restaurant for lunch and then head to the departure airport together.
• The departure from Umbria will be around 1400-1500.
• Arrival at Rome FCO airport would be approximately 1700  (traffic dependent).

1) Food, Wine and Handicrafts

Destinations: Montefalco, Bevagna, Spello, Trevi, Torgiano

Attractions: Bevagna, traditional handicrafts; Montefalco and Torgiano: Wineries Caprai, Lungarotti, and Margaritelli; Spello and Trevi, olive oil mills

2) Sport and Nature

Destinations: Valnerina, Mount Sibillini National Park, Marmore Waterfall, Terni area

Attractions: rafting on the Nera River, outdoor activities in the unspoilt Nera RiverValley, Marmore Waterfall

3) Medieval Towns in Northern Umbria

Destinations: Gubbio and Città di Castello

Attractions: ceramics lesson, truffle hunt, town tours

4) Lake Trasimeno, Chocolate and Cashmere

Destinations: Lake Trasimeno and Perugia

Attractions: a visit to Lake Trasimeno and its Isola Maggiore, Chocolate lab at the Perugina chocolate factory, and visit to the Brunello Cucinelli cashmere factory in Solomeo

Booking Procedure

1. Places on a trip are bookable on a first come, first served basis only.
2. There needs to be a minimum of 5 people per trip for it to run, with a maximum of 15 people overall. 
3. That means 90 max places across all the 6 themes.
4. You need to be a travel blogger to register for a place.
5. On Wednesday 21st March, we will email all delegates a link at 1200 GMT (please don't share, FB or tweet the link we send you).
6. You will be able to register for a blog trip from 1900GMT on the same day.
