All delegates at TBU Umbria will receive free transfers to the conference venue in Umbria, from both Perugia and Rome Fiumicino airports.  Here is how they will work ...

Perugia Airport

All flights arriving on Thursday 19th and Friday 20th April will receive a free transfer.  To book a place on a transfer then do the following:

• Email: umbriatransfers@travelbloggersunite.com with ....
• Date of arrival
• Flight numbers and arrival times
• Number of people in the group

If you are leaving from Perugia Airport then details of your return transfer will be confirmed upon arrival at the conference.  The conference venue is only 10 minutes away from the airport.  So you needn't worry about a thing.

Rome Fiumicino (FCO)

Rome FCO airport will be the main arrival airport for TBU Umbria delegates into Italy.  There are actually a lot of flight options and to help you pick the best flight, we have come up with the following system for pickups.

Thursday 19th April

Return Transfers

This applies to both Rome FCO & Perugia transfers . .

• Transfers will operate on Sunday 22nd & Monday 23rd April for delegates wishing to return straight after the conference
• The conference is due to finish on Sunday 22nd at 1700 - that doesn't give you time to get to Rome for the last flight to London at 2100 (or any other airport destination).
• Weds 25th April is ONLY for those returning after the FREE post conference blog trips
• All return times will be confirmed when you arrive for the conference.

Post-Conference Blog Trip Return Transfers

• The trips will end on Weds 25th April
• The plan at present is for all groups to come together in a central meeting point on weds afternoon, eg a restaurant for lunch
• You will all then head off to Rome FCO airport
• I'd advise to book a flight that leaves no earlier than 2000 (check in 1800)
• If you can, why not stay in Rome for 1 night or more?
• From the airport you can easily travel into the city centre by train
• We could also drop you at Perugia airport of course, Perugia train station is also another option

When choosing a transfer time and booking a flight, you must CONSIDER THE FOLLOWING:

1. These pickup times are fixed departures
2. ...and the times are when you should be at a particular meeting point (this will be confirmed nearer the time - most likely a cafe or restaurant for example)
3. If you miss a transfer, don't worry, we'll just put you on the next available vehicle.
4. My advice is to leave ONE HOUR minimum from the time your flight is due to arrive into Rome and the transfer time that you choose - it takes me around 45 minutes to get from plane >>> immigration >>> baggage hall >>> arrivals hall.
5. The conference is due to finish on Sunday 22nd at 1700 - that doesn't give you time to get to Rome for the last flight to London at 2100 (or any other airport destination).
6. You will need to miss some of the conference if you choose to leave on the Sunday.
