It was time to visit my first metropole outside of germany in 2012 - i decided to travel to the capital of Spain: Madrid. With it's great cultural and artistic heritage and some of the liveliest nightlife this is definetely a destination you should put on your list when visiting Europe!
I started my visit with discovering the center, trying the typical local food and visiting the most popular sights - part 1 covers the morning of one day in Madrid.
